Alerts & monitoring

HexSign's job is to make sure nothing expires while you're not looking. This category covers the two halves of that: the alerts that reach a person before a deadline, and the dashboard signals that tell you what to deal with first.

Start with Configure expiration alerts: email, chat, and incident tools, which walks through every delivery channel (email, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Jira, Jira Service Management, PagerDuty, incident.io), the thresholds you can set at 7, 14, 30, 60, and 90 days, and the test send that proves a webhook works before anyone relies on it.

Alerts are the backstop, not the plan. Pair them with auto-renewal in the Certificates category, which reissues most material 30 days out so the threshold is never reached at all. What is left over is the case worth paging on: a renewal Apple rejected, or a certificate with no private key on file. Route that one to a channel somebody actually reads.
